What MCT processes
MCT processes the marketing copy you place into a Content Builder block: subject lines, preheaders, body text, CTAs. This copy is sent to translation services, translated, and returned. We cache translated strings so they can be reused without re-translating.
What MCT does not process
MCT does not read, receive or store subscriber data. Subscriber records, email addresses, personalization tokens and sending data stay inside your Salesforce Marketing Cloud org at all times.
Where data lives
Cached translations are stored in EU-based infrastructure (Amsterdam and Frankfurt). Data in transit is TLS 1.3. Data at rest is AES-256 encrypted.
Sub-processors
Translation is powered by DeepL and OpenAI (enterprise contracts, no training on customer data). Hosting is on AWS eu-west-1 and eu-central-1.
Your rights
You can request export or deletion of your cached translations at any time by emailing privacy@genetrix.tech. Requests are honored within 30 days.
